Get excited!

They say that happiness is infectious. If you're smiling, the world smiles with you. This holds very true in fundraising as well.

Show excitement and confidence in the nonprofit you serve and donors will follow suit. Smile and be open with your body language (make eye contact, no crossing of the arms). Be genuine. Be positive.

If you're passionate about your organization's mission, that will shine through in all of your professional interactions.
